I have been enjoying the communications regarding my great uncle, Thomas Manly Darlington. I was able to meet with his son, William Darlington before his death two years ago in New Orleans. His was a fascinating tale because he was an infant when his dad was murdered and grew up not knowing he had a brother or sister until he applied for a security clearance in the USMC.

Anyhow, he told me that Norma Johnson was his father's first wife. William thought his dad placed Tom and Dolores in a home until he married again.
His second wife was Jean Josephine Belloumini. They were married 21 June 1924. William was born in 1931. After Manly's death Tom and Dolores were sent to El Paso and William's mom took him back to her parents home where he grew up.

Thomas Manly's son Thom was born in 1916 and last I heard was living in California. Dolores died a couple years ago. I believe Tod has more details.

William Darlington told me that he knew some details of his dad's murder. It involved gambling debts and the local mob.
