L. T. Fox, Pioneer
Business Man Of
Denton, Succumbs

Lawrence Turner Fox, 74, pioneer
resident of Denton County

He lived but about two hours after
Mrs. Paschall found him suffering
from the attack.
Fox was born in Kansas City
and came to Texas with his parents
when, about 11 years old, settling
In Pilot Point. He later made
his home at Lloyd until coming
to Denton. He was first married
to Miss Belle Key of Lloyd, who
lived but a few years. Mrs. Paschall
is the child of that union. He was
later married to Miss Eleanor
Smith of Little Elm, who died about
a year ago in Denton. Children
of that union are Mrs. J. T. Jones
and Mrs. W. C. Brannon of El
Paso, Mrs. Bernie Dunn of Chicago,

of Leesville, La., Mrs, Lou Vititow
of Sulphur Springs, Mrs. Minnie
Baker of Decatur and E. D. Fox of
Mexia, 13 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Since coming to Denton, Fox had
been engaged in various businesses,
including hardware, automobile
agency and traveling salesman for
a machinery company. He was a
member of the Church of Christ.
Because the children must come
from several distant places the
hour of the funeral had not been
definitely set, but will be in the
Church of Christ probably Friday
morning. Burial wilt be in the Little Elm cemetery.
