Field Work Completed 27 Dec. 1980 This effort was undertaken as an Eagle Scout project by Andrew H. Card. The following scouts from Troop 50, Trinity Trails District of Longhorn Council, Fort Worth, Texas, participated in the field work: Chris Marquardt, James Prochaska, Stuart Stuebing, Paul Chandler, Michael Berryhill, and Mark T. Card This is a very large, old cemetery that is still active and is located not far from Lewisville, Texas. It has never been recorded for historical purposes. Because of the large size of this cemetery I decided to record tombstones with death dates prior to 1930. All other graves with death dates after 1930 are still unrecorded. In front of the cemetery the title is "McCurly Cemetery" and the reason for this is that some of the graves were moved from McCurly Prairie to this location. Sections marked A and B are thought to be those graves that were moved. It is believed that Sections D1, D2, D3, F, and C are the original Old Hall Cemetery boundaries. Section F contains Hall family graves. The boundary of the sections D1 and D2 is the north fence of Section F (an iron picket fence). The boundary of the D2 and D3 section is on a line with the juniper and oak trees as indicated on the map. The total number of graves I recorded is 446. Section A: John O. French Son of J.B. and S.J.
